Eidul – Fitr

Subhanallah ! What a beautiful day,
The sun has come out to play after days in hiding,
Frost on the roads glistening like diamonds,
Fresh white snow enfold the green leaves on the trees.

Its cold, but the spirit of this beautiful day warms the hearts of the Believers,
Ya Allah, what a fresh smell this day brings,
After a whole month of hard earning,
Allah has truly shown His mercy.

See how the children all excited with their angelic faces lit up,
Adorned in their new clothes and smelling of sweet fragrance they admire each other,
Girls show off their hands all painted in henna,
Boys all eager to join the special Salat in the Mosque.

At the Mosque, Believers embrace each other,
Exchanging greetings of peace and harmony,
See how they glow from within,
Feel how this day touches the inner souls of the Believers,
Let the radiance shine through for the world to see how blessed this day truly is !

Wishing you all a happy Eid….May Allah make it Eid everyday for you and shower you with all His blessings and mercy….AMEEN.
